depending on where you live tulip bulbs are put in refrig cooler for 6 weeks then planted in the ground around Oct/Nov. Use a little bone meal when bulb is put in ground (dig hole 3 times thickness
of bulb. The leaves will grow from the ground in early spring then blooms after. You may cut blooms
as soon as they are fully open.
Tulips look better when planted in mass ( very close together)
If you live in a northen zone the bulbs will bloom again next year. in south must be dug up when
leaves turn yellow and die-then refrig again in fall before planting.
They come in many colors and flower shapes. they like rich loose well drained soil, full sun.
